10.04.11 | Yes. If I can't have it in my hands, it doesn't feel like I own it. |

10.04.11 | I'd buy vinyl if I had a record player and a decent set of headphones/stereo. But otherwise I try to buy CDs when I can. |

10.04.11 | Yes. Bought 4 CDs recently. |

10.04.11 | I would but it's expensive. I might for a few albums I really like if I can fucking find them somewhere |
newjunkaesthetic93
10.04.11 | Yeah. I actually just bought The Hunter on cd today. I usually get two or three a month if not more. |
WashboardSuds
10.04.11 | I buy the CD's I really like |

10.04.11 | Yeah. But the local place here closed down and now I have to go into the city to get anything decent thats not from wal-mart. |

10.04.11 | 1, Yes. I still buy all the music I truly enjoy. Besides obviously supporting the artist, having the CD/booklet/etc enhances the experience if it's a quality release. It's not that expensive. People basically just try and listen to way too much music these days, imo. Of course they can't afford all the 50 albums they downloaded last month. |

10.04.11 | Yeah, whenever I can. Also, vinyls. But downloading shit is good too, for obscure stuff. |

10.04.11 | I still get CDs, but only if I really like the album (like if it's from an artist I really want to support) or if I absolutely can't get it online. It's nice to have CDs to play while I'm driving around. |
Urinetrouble
10.04.11 | both 1 and 2. i only get cd's i think are really good

iFghtffyrdmns
10.04.11 | @everybody: buy a record player. you won't regret it. only your bank account will but who cares that's negligible |
swallowtales
10.04.11 | Too poor to buy cds, if I had money I would. |
whywontyoudie
10.04.11 | I buy CDs regularly and vinyl at shows. |
The Sludge
10.04.11 | Yes, I buy cd's, I don't have the desire to buy albums online. I like to have the physical real copy of the music I enjoy. I like to browse the booklet and the lyrics (if availible in the booklet). I like to have the official picture on the cd for my massive cd sleeve book. It's how I've done it since I started purchasing music when I was 15. I can't picture it any other way.
@iFghtffyrdmns: I would love to build a vinyl collection but it is a costly investment that I can't afford right now. Music on vinyl sounds so crisp and seems the best way to enjoy music period. |

10.04.11 | I've purchased over 1500 cd's throughout the course of time. it looks absolutely ridiculous and takes up way too much
room even when organized. The closet should have its own TLC hoarders special. So i don't want to support that habit
anymore. Also, my discovery of new bands and albums cannot keep up with my wallet or my ability to locate shit in
stores, and even if i can get it off amazon, it still doesnt beat the satisfaction of having it immediately after reading about
it, so I dont even bother anymore. Out of the 90 albums that are currently on my iPhone, 86 of them were
downloads.
I moved on to buying special "7 that i dig. |

10.04.11 | as far as the "driving around" comment up there, what cd player do you have in your car that doesn't have an aux output? the flinstones mobile? |
MO
10.04.11 | yep |
Acanthus
10.04.11 | There's something about having the physical copy of a favorite album that just can't be replicated imo |
climactic
10.04.11 | i usually buy CDs of only my favorite albums or new albums from good bands. i have maybe 100 or so... |
UnnamedOcean
10.04.11 | "as far as the "driving around" comment up there, what cd player do you have in your car that doesn't have an aux output? the flinstones mobile?"
It's a 2001 car. You were lucky to get a CD player back then. |
Awesomesauce
10.04.11 | No often. I buy 10 times the amount of vinyl than I do plastic these days. |
toxin.
10.04.11 | "It's a 2001 car. You were lucky to get a CD player back then."
I drive a '98 Infinity I-30 and it has a CD player. Granted it is (was?) a sports car so it's supposed to be nice |
UnnamedOcean
10.04.11 | Mine does have a CD player since it's a luxury model Nissan Maxima, but the point is it doesn't have an aux input. |
toxin.
10.04.11 | Oh I get the point of your post now lol yeah mine doesn't either |
AmericnZero02
10.04.11 | Yeah I buy cds. I like supporting the bands I'm into and having the physical copy of the album. |

clercqie
10.04.11 | All the time, but after I listened to them first online/after downloading... That way I know which albums are worth buying.
I don't buy vinyl because it's too expensive... |
liledman
10.04.11 | spend all my money on music, buy records/cds/cassettes. basically as much as i can with my lowly income. |

10.04.11 | Is everyone seriously that broke? Shit just go to Amazon and you'll find amazing CD's for like a fcking penny for gods sake |
Yuli
10.04.11 | Well older albums are really cheap on amazon, but newer ones/more obscure ones still cost quite a bit on there. |
Spec
10.04.11 | Yes I buy CDs. |
accompliceofmydeath
10.04.11 | I buy as much vinyl as I can and get the CD if vinyl isn't available. I download old shit I know I'll never be able to find. |
SmokingTheClouds
10.04.11 | No credit card = no online ordering.
That accompanied with the fact that I can never find the damn CD's I want in shops means I would fall under 3.
Be damned if I can find a copy of a Deathspell Omega LP at an HMV in Canada. |

Nagrarok
10.04.11 | Every so often, would buy them more regularly if I had the money for it since I love collecting that sweet stuff. |
DominionMM1
10.04.11 | Yes, I still buy CDs. I've also started getting more vinyl. I love spending an hour or so at the record store, looking through stuff and finding some gems. Because I live in an urban area, there are like 4 record shops within a couple miles of me, so I'll make a whole day of it. |
BrockCrutchfield
10.04.11 | I used to use limewire, but now i buy cd's. |

10.04.11 | i buy 'em if there's like a limited edition package with vinyl, t-shirts, etc. i've stopped going to the record store to buy jewel cased cd's for 25$ (that's how much you pay in norway at least) when i can get them for free in 5 minutes.
the last CD i bought in a store was King Crimson - In the court of the crimson king, and i paid over 20$ for it, close to 30. |

10.04.11 | if i had a higher paying job i'd buy a bunch. Now i only buy when i absolutely want it or if i find a deal too good to pass up |
Metamorphosis
10.04.11 | I'd buy albums, but I mean, it's not really helping the band out. They don't get much money from the CD's people buy. As such, I don't really buy CD's. |
Activista anti-MTV
10.04.11 | I'd be interested to see how my money is spent when buying CDs. I am #3. I just buy CDs I think I might like. Does anyone have any more information? |
SCREAM!
10.04.11 | the excuse about the band not getting much money is bad at best. Better they get a bit of money than no money at all. The little bits add up eventually.
Once i get out of school and have a decent job i might start building a bigger collection. |

10.04.11 | I have about 200 cd's that i've been collecting over the past couple years, but I really need to cut down on it. Being only 18 without a steady income, and away at university covering a majority of my rent, I can't really afford to spend much more on cd's. I still pick up rare ones when I find them, though. |
rockandmetaljunkie
10.08.11 | Yes.
But the first thing i do, before purchase, is listen the album to the youtube and if i can find it in a fair price and if i like it i will buy it.
Thus far i think i have 250 cds. |
