I'm digging Deus Ex and Dead Island right now, but I have no major qualms with Gears, other than how repetitive it can get. I was absolutely enamored by the first, but it's a little too formulaic to really captivate for countless hours, imo.

theashesfromautumn01 09.22.11	the game isnt all that bad. i dont like what they did with the tac/com and the retro lancers addition wasn't nessacary but its good. the sawed off shotgun pisses me off though. and the money system in horde.

theacademy 09.22.11	na I did the responsible thing: keyed the bottom of the disk so nobody can ever suffer through it again, went back to the store and told them that's how i found it. then i bought another copy of resistance 3 and gave it to one of the younger kids in line for gears.

MaskAtTheMasquerade 09.25.11	i gotta say im a fan of the game. its way better than GOW 2 but doesn't beat the 1st. definitely not a run and gun type of game which is why i think a lot of people were turned off by it. and online is not easy lol, if your team doesnt spot or communicate at all and just kinda branches of to do their own thing you're most likely just going to die A LOT

MaskAtTheMasquerade 09.25.11	@heybrosef yeah thats true, i haven't noticed any glitches at all (like crab walking or chain saw glitches) but i just think the 1st game was more tactical. there are a bunch of new weapons that just rape if your team gets them. in gears 1 it was pretty much both teams fighting for boom, sniper and torque

UnnamedOcean 09.25.11	I played Gears 2 multiplayer for a while once, and I didn't really like it. It was just too slow, not enough going on for me. I'm just pretty tired of 3rd person, over the shoulder cover-shooters. In fact I'm rather sick of shooters in general. The only two I still play are BF and Killzone.
