09.06.11 | 1, 3, and 8 are the only albums of his I've listened to. |

09.06.11 | 8 and 15 are way too low. I agree with Foreign Affairs being the weakest though. I can't wait for the new album. |

09.06.11 | Nighthawks drags on too long for me, I'd recommend any of these though |

09.06.11 | Every album does a good job at creating it's own little world |

09.06.11 | i respect your familiarity with so much of his stuff.
I'm always meaning to try and get more into him, there's just a LOT of material to tackle and never enough time.
1 is definitely awesome though, orphans is too |

09.06.11 | Yeah a lot of these don't click right away even to people who've heard an album or two by him, especially Orphans, it's a behemoth
So worth it though |

09.06.11 | most badass musician ever |

09.06.11 | Nighthawks may drag on at times, but it's definitely the album of his that gives me the greatest experience. I love just throwing on the vinyl, closing my eyes, and being taken to a smokey old diner in the 70s, the atmosphere created by that album is remarkable. Although I agree that some of the songs aren't as interesting as his other albums.
Swordfishtrombones is probably my favourite though, all the music is just so varied, it's such a joy to listen to from start to finish. Always nice running into another Waits fan. |

09.06.11 | ive probably only heard half his discog but this would still be a really hard list for me to make |

09.06.11 | If I don't see him live before he retires I'm gonna be rattled, I really hope there's a tour with the new album |
