Jethro42
09.06.11 | yeah Notrap, exactly. My very first music band were doing their rehearsals next door to Voivod. But unfortunately, at the time I wasnt a part of the band anymore. |

09.06.11 | Cool ;-)
first I'm a guitar player and then a singer (don't have a golden voice), but I play practically all rock instruments.
I compose all instruments of my songs |
Jethro42
09.06.11 | Nice. I don't have any talent to compose, but I prefer by a long shot to be in a band who composes his stuff. I like to covering stuff too, but it's another story. |
TheNotrap
09.06.11 | never covered bands
Always believed in originals I suppose
|
Jethro42
09.06.11 | Sure nothing compares to do your own stuff. My first music school was to cover bands like Led Zep, Genesis, Gentle Giant, Saga, Rush and the likes. I quickly became tight with these, trust me. =] |
TheNotrap
09.06.11 | hummmm
Sounds like you're a really good drummer. Not easy to follow Neil Peart, Phil or Bonham. |
Jethro42
09.06.11 | Yeah well, I think I did a good job covering Seconds Out by Genesis. Not an easy task I confess. Rush have never been easy either, but with perseverance and...endurance haha. I've never really practiced double bass pedal. I'm from the olllld school so yeah. John Bonham is my main influence and apparently (according to ex fellow musicians and myself) I have some Bonham in my blood. |
TheNotrap
09.06.11 | All my drummers (except the last one) always used only 1 pedal.
But by modern standards practically all drummers use 2. Metal did that to music I suppose ;-) |
