09.04.11 | Just keep reading. Every volume in the series has a critical point, after which you won't be able to put it down. Best fantasy series since Tolkien, IMO. |

09.04.11 | Agreed, sonic. Feast was a definite step down from Storm. One of the character arcs was completely pointless until the last chapter and the others could have been resolved in four chapters instead of ten. That said, it was still really good and I have faith that the new one will be a return to form. Now if only I can find time around my school schedule to read it... |

09.04.11 | Read all of them including A Dance with Dragons. They're all really good, easy reads, but like Sonic said, the plot starts to slow the fuck down, especially in Dragons. His characters basically all get stuck through that whole book. |

But I think you guys are right; I got to maybe page 110 or so, and I love it now. :) It took awhile to get interesting for me. And I think I struggled with it because I don't really read as a recreational thing too often, so I'm still getting accustomed to that. I have been enjoying it though- I love the way Martin words simple things. |

09.09.11 | Yeah, I think pretty much anyone can enjoy this series, although it gets really grim and gritty the farther into the series you read, which might turn some people off. |
