| Tasty Sludge Jams
When it comes to metal, and I'm feeling like I want to race Frodo to
Mount Doom and face some epic adventures, I listen to these
albums. (that was a really lame ass description) | 1 | | Hull Sole Lord
These guys take the best of ISIS, High On Fire, Neurosis, early Mastodon,
and add their own sprinkles to make tunes to fill your ears with
doomy/sludgy goodness, and also surprise you by showing their influences
of Classic Rock and Progressive Metal in their epic ass songs. Check out
their new song 'Fire Vein' off their upcoming album Beyond The Lightless
Sky, just google it. Also check out their EP, 'Viking Funeral'. Its a 16 minute
long song of everything you want in a metal song. So so so so so good. | 2 | | High on Fire Blessed Black Wings
The best HOF album. Nuff said. | 3 | | Neurosis Times of Grace
I wonder if Times of Grace got their name cuz of this album..............lol | 4 | | Kylesa Spiral Shadow
Love the psychedelic feel these guys give. | 5 | | Mastodon Remission
Underrated album, might be my favorite Mastodon album but Leviathan is
so damn good too. Still, this album slays. | |

11.25.11 | Get back to me when you can tell me what genre these bands belong in, till then AngelofDeath stfu. | DominionMM1
11.25.11 | HoF is more stoner, Neurosis is post-metal, and Mastodon is...well, I don't know, but not sludge. | Steamboat01
11.28.11 | I'm just pointing out that its hard to categorize a lot of these bands since they sound so different from one another... ok maybe not that different, but you get the point. | Ignimbrite
