| 1 | | Elliott Smith Figure 8
Not my favorite album from him, but you can just never go wrong. "Everything Reminds Me Of Her" to "Everything Means Nothing To Me" just kills me. |
| 2 | | Bob Dylan Another Side Of Bob Dylan
Saw him this past Friday night for the third time, only it was from the second row - dead center. Pretty surreal seeing such a legend up close like that. Sure he's lost a step in his live act, but at 70 the man is still going quite strong. Hit and miss live vocally, but he was just absolutely on this past Friday. |
| 3 | | Nick Drake Five Leaves Left
Sometimes I'm torn between this and Pink Moon being better, but than just decide they're both stellar. |
| 4 | | Leonard Cohen Live In London
Still cannot forgive myself for missing his last tour, so this helps me cope... kind of. |
| 5 | | Paul Simon Still Crazy After All These Years
One of Paul Simon's masterpieces. The title track gives me chills every time. |
| 6 | | David Bowie Low
Came back to this album lately after a good long break from Bowie. Still impressive as ever. |
| 7 | | Wilco Being There
Trying to keep myself patient for the new album in September. Can't wait. |
| 8 | | Bruce Springsteen Darkness On The Edge Of Town
It's the Boss. That's all you need to know. |
| 9 | | Elvis Costello Imperial Bedroom
One of the funnest discographies to go through. Been giving this and Trust a little more of my time and patience. All vintage Costello. |
| 10 | | Philip Glass Solo Piano
Never cease to be amazed by this guy. Glassworks is still my favorite, but this is also climbing up the ranks. |
