08.20.11 | no, nothing specific. just watch videos of as many drummers across different genres of music as you can, and see what really interests you. lately ive been obsessed with groove and pockets so steve gadd, aaron spears, teddy campbell, john blackwell, dennis chambers, tony royster jr are some modern examples. just listen to what you like |
