Acanthus 08.15.11	We're actually at the semi-recording/mastering stage for an EBM act (only a few tracks out of the 10/12 we have planned), looking into full synthesizers with vocoders currently; I'm on key's/clean vocals (mainly chorus work). They're not too terrible price wise, just one more thing needed to make things run smoother.

Acanthus 08.15.11	Oh I plan on it, once some things are ironed out we've got plans for a small two week tour and obviously local shows as well. If it's needed I'll take up the guitar and stick with it this time, there's a Gibson with my name written all over it online.

Acanthus 08.15.11	I've messed with learning to play before, and can read sheet music but I was no where near this inspired/determined; a band mate helps wonders for that.

Acanthus 08.15.11	Yeah I marched with it and such for 6 years, just got tired of the teachers always being replaced (my school sucked about that). I've gained more respect for it now, might go back to it some day.

TomArnoldsArmpit 08.15.11	I have a really hard time trusting ebay for shit like that. I'd rather pay the extra money to buy something brand new, be able to try it out first, have a warranty, etc. If I find myself sitting on an extra 2000 bucks in the next few months, I might just break down and get a new setup.
Acanthus 08.15.11	Hahaha yeah that's a lot of money, but if it made you happy and you miss it that much I'd say go for it personally. I've always steered clear of buying used instruments/gear myself, sometimes I just don't know enough to trust a used piece.

Acanthus 08.15.11	Agreed, I mean videogame equipment and other stuff I do buy used but I doubt I'll do it for music related things unless I'm in a tight spot or know the seller well (and that's only for speakers and stuff).

TomArnoldsArmpit 08.15.11	Colorado springs was fun when I went. The other two places (Pueblo, and the Denver airport) did nothing for me. Pueblo is a shithole.
Acanthus 08.15.11	I've got extended family in Colorado Springs (don't talk with them much), and Pueblo was an ok place but I didn't spend much time there.

Acanthus 08.15.11	At the time I was from a place containing 500 people, I've not been back there (Pueblo) in at least 4 years so i can definitely say my perception might have been skewed.

Acanthus 08.15.11	People spend a ton of money on hobbies true, it does seem like a lot if just glanced at however.
