CrackeTheSkull: Insanely Loud Drumming

CrackeTheSkull 08.14.11	I'm currently using one of the newer model Turtlebeach Headsets. I bought it for Surround Sound Xbox gaming but it's actually the best option that I have right now for Music.
CrackeTheSkull 08.14.11	No idea where the R's are coming from in the description. Every time I try to edit them out they come right back after I hit submit... weird.
TheArkitecht 08.14.11	I've never had a problem with the level of the drumming on these albums, 3 inches of blood fire up the blades is the only one that bugs me.

CrackeTheSkull 08.14.11	Might be a flaw in the way these Headphones were designed. The drumming sounds much more fluid and crisp on these things than they do on any other headset I've ever used, but as a result the snare has this aggravatingly high-frequency clang to them on these albums.

CrackeTheSkull 08.14.11	Not at all man, the Equalizer settings are all on default. Is there any way that screwing around with them could actually correct this problem?
Idnuf 08.14.11	If snares have a piercing high-frequency sound to them then try adjusting the treble or something. idk, don't listen to Ulcerate though or you'll go deaf

CrackeTheSkull 08.14.11	Oh, my bad. From iTunes. I prefer the interface over MediaMonkey for some reason. Is there a noticeable sound difference between the two? I have the same exact problem when I play these albums on my iPod.
In2ThePit 08.14.11	Well your iPod has preset EQs in its settings that you can toggle. I use Acoustic for most stuff. As for iTunes, I can't remember/figure out how to customise the EQ. Maybe the newer version has disabled it or something.
