Everyone Else Is Doing It: Arrows & Anchors Ranked
the european digipack edition. there's no clunkers on here, so even the tracks towards the bottom of the list are really good |
1 | Fair To Midland Coppertank Island
the electronic feel of this track is so good and i love the, what i believe, political lyrics |
2 | Amarillo Sleeps On My Pillow
downloaded this song when it was first released as a free download and haven't stopped listening to it since. i thought i might overplay it, but nope. definetely different from anything else the band has ever done |
3 | Uh-Oh
i love the opening, but besides that, i don't really know what to say about this track. i just know it's really good |
4 | Golden Parachutes
probably the most accessible track on here. it has such a huge and catchy chorus |
5 | Short-Haired Tornado
didn't originally like this track, but after countless listens it has grown on me a lot. compared to the rest of the album, it's a good mellow point |
6 | A Loophole In Limbo
i don't know why this track gets so much hate. the verses are full of really interesting lyrics and the chorus might be the best on the album. it might get a little repetative towards the end when the chorus is repeated, but that's about it |
7 | Musical Chairs
great song. probably the most similar to fables, which makes sense since it was wriiten then. i don't have anything negative to say about it |
8 | The Greener Grass
great proggressive feel, but the last few minutes are kind of useless if you're listening to it by itself |
9 | Pour The Coal To 'er
one of the better bonus tracks i've heard in a long time. the people who didn't get any of the editions with this track are really missing out |
10 | Rikki Tikki Tavi
if you like heavy and catchy you will like this track. enough said |
11 | Bright Bulbs and Sharp Tools
i really like the bridge on this track, but the rest of it is kind of "eh" |
12 | Whiskey & Ritalin
i do like this track, but i think it's a bit too all over the place |
