Dev518 07.28.11	The world is getting better and better. I would much rather live in modern times than any other time in history. Not only will I never get polio but I can also receive an education. I live in a nation where even the poor have leisure time and some expendable income. My government (while flawed) is not made up of single king and is representative to some degree. To top it all off an increasing number of the world's population are becoming relatively free and will probably not have to live as serfs, slaves, or peasants as was the case throughout most of history.
