Don't much care for shadow gallery, kamelot, and Queensryche. Not that they are bad really just a little too much on the cheesy side for my tastes. Everything else I will definitely look into though. |

I'm not that great with progressive metal, I don't listen to much of it... So I can't really help you there. |

07.19.11 | you like evergrey? sweet |
misterhustle24
07.19.11 | Alright. I always assumed FBTMOF was some sort of post hardcore band or something so I guess I was wrong on that one. And if I remember correctly I listened to Monolith once because I heard Devin Townsend produced it. I remember liking it but I just never got it for some reason. Never heard of The Pax Cecillia. |
misterhustle24
07.19.11 | Hah man I stumbled on Evergrey somehow back in the Myspace days about 5 years ago. Loved The Inner Circle but never listened to much beyond that. |
coleba
07.19.11 | How could I forget. Get Cynic's Traced in Air immediately if you don't have it. Also, some I forgot, Cloudkicker (instrumental, think Meshuggah), Amia Venera Landscape (Progressive metalcore/post metal) and if you like BTBAM, Called to Arms. But yea, Cynic is an absolute must for progressive metal. |
Pyosisified
07.19.11 | dude you gotta check out In Search of Truth, Solitude Dominance Tragedy and Recreation Day. those are all better than Inner Circle. used to love these guys, theyre still good i guess. their newer albums arent that good though |

07.19.11 | Cynic is bad ass, for sure. Saw them with BTBAM. Also love Amia Venera Landscape and Cloudkicker. Will have to check out Called to Arms.
With Evergrey I remember not liking Recreation Day as much but honestly I haven't listened to them in awhile. So those are their older albums? I'll have to go check them out. |
