Acanthus: Anime Convention

Acanthus 07.18.11	Such a great driving album, never really got into the band much before this tbh.
omnipanzer 07.18.11	1-5 are great albums. Never attended a con myself as the hassle of the crowd out ways the fun for me.

IrishJay91 07.18.11	I have a friend who goes to Anime Boston every year and he says its a blast. never been myself though.
Acanthus 07.18.11	This was relatively small imo, no more than a few hundred in any one place. I was bummed that we didn't cosplay, but I'm sure we'll give it a go next time. As for 1-5 I had just never realized how catchy it was, though the first half is a bit better imo.
Hyperion1001 07.18.11	I've never been to an anime con but for the past years ive been going to Dragoncon in Atlanta, and it rules. last year they had a guy there who had a showing of a shitton of original cells from Akira and explained a lot about the film.

Acanthus 07.18.11	The girl from Gurren Lagann was cosplayed to great results, she fit the figure even (was eye candy for sure). I think I'll be attending the one in St. Louis MO next, but I'm not sure.

Acanthus 07.18.11	The group cosplay's are cool; Bleach, TMNT, and a few others were at the one I attended.

Acanthus 07.19.11	If you're a fan it's actually worth your time. I was surprised at how much I ended up knowing in comparison to some con-goers, and how little too.

Rev 07.19.11	it's great. it's short, and is pretty much if you mixed pulp fiction, fullmetal alchemist, and the godfather together and it's on netflix

Acanthus 07.19.11	I've been loving both, though I know VC isn't that great. It was showing at the con and my buddy had played the game so I was hooked. I love Welcome to the N.H.K so much, it's been surprising at every turn.
