The only material to come out of the four of them collectively since 10,000 Days is a few lukewarm Puscifer releases. Their fifth album is pretty much the new Detox.

And as much as I love Tool, clearly they're no Zeppelin. So no, invalid excuse.

Skweetis 07.15.11	And Soundgarden just finished their new album which won't be released until spring 2012 (supposedly). Maybe bands are getting lazier...I don't know. As much as I like Tool, they don't have an excuse. They toured 10,000 Days for 2 years (if that), and have been dicking around ever since. If this new album ends up being their magnum opus I'll forgive them, but I don't see it beating Lateralus.
