07.05.11 | Somehow lost all my descriptions in the submitting process, so will add them later. Will say here that Arcade Fire was the closest thing to a perfect concert I've ever seen. | Psychopathologist
07.05.11 | some good bands on here | FelixCulpa
07.05.11 | I also saw The gaslight anthem on a festival but earlier this summer, great live band. And yeah some great band here. | clercqie
07.05.11 | The Gaslight Anthem were a great way to start the festival, though I'd rather seen them later in the evening. | DaveyBoy
07.05.11 | Nice lineup clercqie. I'm still hanging out to see Arcade Fire, so count me just a little more jealous now. | clercqie
07.06.11 | Seems that descriptions are out of order :/
So I'll post my top 10 concerts below:
1. Arcade Fire (like, seriously; it was fucking perfect - sorry Davey)
2. The National (Squalor Victoria alone would make this concert the most awesome thing ever)
3. Queens of the Stone Age (and if the new track they played is representative for the new album, get it as soon as it's out)
4. Eels (without a depression, Everett is the coolest dude on the planet)
5. Portishead (had chills and goosebumbs the whole time)
6. The Gaslight Anthem (they didn't dissapoint; Fallon was enthousiastic as always)
7. Jenny and Johnny (funny name, fun band, great pop concert)
8. Moby (a best-of set of his is always great)
9. Fleet Foxes (the played a harder rocking set, which was nice)
10. Elbow (very relaxing set, Guy Harvey is always fun to see) |
