AdamK: Warped Tour 2011 Review

ZilbelPing 07.04.11	I would have gone for 1, 3, 7, and 9 (I'm a very big fan of them). How was the drummer for 5? He's the only reason I would listen to them. Fun to play too.

AdamK 07.04.11	The drummer was alright but nothing too special. I didn't have high hopes for them but expected a bit more polished sound.

AdamK 07.04.11	Idk redskyformiles but they were dead on with everything. I didn't have any expectations because I've never heard or seen them live or heard them on youtube or anything. But when singing is in tune and screaming is powerful and the voice doesn't give out like most other bands I say that's a good band live. All the instruments were on also.

whywontyoudie 07.04.11	Jesus christ, why do you kids not watch Foxy Shazam? I guarantee they have a more entertaining live show than any of these bands (except for maybe Less Than Jake).

AdamK 07.04.11	ah well that's surprising. I'll have to see them again and judge that. whywontyoudie I listened to them on youtube and couldn't really get into it quite yet. And my friend wanted to see TDWP and they were playing at the same time so I wasn't going to go see a show of a band I don't like yet because sputnik says I should.

Aids 07.07.11	I dont like Against Me! very much at all, I've only heard Reinventing Axl Rose and think it's really overrated, but they're one of the greatest live bands in the history of music. Missing their set is criminal. Like, I'd even consider seeing their set over a band I liked quite a bit, they're that good live.

(opening for a band that I did like). but then I saw Against Me! and I now know to go to shows of bands that have good reputations live. Same with Deerhunter. I thought they were boring, but saw them live anyway and they blew my mind. I think I have Satellite to thank for that. THANKS FOR MAKING ME SEE DEERHUNTER SATELLITE I WUV YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU
AdamK 07.07.11	but i know myself and i know that seeing a band live who's music i don't like does nothing for me. Because for me it's about the music and songs they are doing more than the performance. Now hearing they are good live i would have seen it but I don't think it's a huge crime. Missing Less Than Jake for me would have been a crime because i love their music.
