06.15.11 | Not entirely sure what you mean by classical especially with 1+2 but try Kataxu, a touch of tasteful symphonic and but def brings the metal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Dvb9QE9kTE&feature=related
Fleshgod Apocalypse-Oracles as well obviously also Septic Flesh-The Great Mass may be close to what you're looking for.

Hyperbore
06.15.11 | Cruciamentum [Norway] 'Luctus Infinite'
which also leads to...
Dies Irae [Norway] 'Circle of Leth'
and for something not ridiculously obscure, Sacramentum's 'Far Away from the Sun' has ridiculous levels of counterpoint melody. |

06.15.11 | I can't believe I forgot Septic Flesh and Unexpect and Portal. My brain musta been dead this morning. |

06.15.11 | "Not entirely sure what you mean by classical especially with 1+2"
seriously? really? the scales and many of the riffs are from, or influenced by classical music. I've seen many people say that, and I agree. |
salival13
06.16.11 | The term classical is very broad and to me when I here it in reference to metal my mind thinks of
symphonic tinged death/black metal or avant-garde with piano and string orchestration to you tonality
and melody are the characteristics you were interested in. Just different interpretations. |
