05.03.07 | a background on the bands:
1. my personal fave. a fusion of sabbath, deep purple, pink floyd, led zep, etc, etc. catchy and heavy
2. aussie rock at its peak. they make FANTASTIC rock songs to emotional ballads.
3. fast and raw plain and simple.
4. sounding like modern day nirvana the vines make some great rock songs, but controversy has damaged the bands rep.
5. you guys should have heard of jet and they are awsome. raw rock.
6. a great and unique sounding band with a hint of country and funk. they've just released an album and it's great.
7. another great band. its the catchiness that hooks you in. |

05.03.07 | Great bands... Pete Murray is, I'm sorry to say, way better than Jet, The Vines and End Of Fashion. But good list anyway. The John Butler Trio, fantastic. The 'Finger, been listening to them this morning actually, they are so great it's amazing they aren't popular overseas. |
