fuckyourneonshirt 05.13.11	Yeah, I do like Wu-Tang, 36 Chambers is my favorite hip-hop album and one of my favorite albums in general. For some reason I just don't like GZA and Raekwon on their own. Liquid Swords is like listening to one overly long track, and OB4CL is ridiculously boring. And Oneirology isn't that fucking awesome, it's just a collection of samples and flashy beats with mediocre flows thrown over them. I gave that album more chances than I give most stuff that I'm iffy about, and it disappointed me every time. So fuck that. OH HEY, about the name, since you're all so smitten by it. sublimefan1991 05.13.11	@stallion - uninformed? mostly because of sputnik, i checked out mobb deep's "the infamous," gang starr's "hard to earn," dr. dre's "the chronic," and biggie's "ready to die" (all 4.2+ rating on this site). only ready to die is at least a 3.5 in my book. the others are overrated as hell. legit, there are only a handful of memorable lines on any of those albums and the rhyme schemes are unimpressive as fuck. "drink away the pain" on the infamous, for example, is legit one of the most retarded songs i've ever heard. all it does is make lame-ass puns of clothing and shoe brands over a corny as fuck beat. the chronic is insanely repetitive and doesn't even have any sort of message other than how dre is a gangbanger (which is fine, but at least throw in some clever punchlines once in awhile). and hard to earn is average and repetitive as hell too. maybe it's cuz the first rap album i tried to get into is the marshall mathers lp and everything else just pales in comparison that i don't enjoy old-school rap as much. either way, i've given old-school rap a chance and most of is just boring as fuck.
