| 2011 - Year of Fem Front Indialtpop
so far this year, 4 female fronted indie bands have put out straight out classics, worthy of numerous empty "AOTY OMFG" review comments, despite the fact that they will surely be neglected from just about everybody's top 10 voting lists except probably mine. These albums right now make up probably 4 of the top 7 of the year, and if you add these 4 to the sounds/pj harvey, 6 of the top 10 albums this year are female fronted... anyway, THESE are all up there with Scurrilous: | | 1 |  | Eisley

05.11.11 | 2 does indeed utterly rule. As does PJ Harvey's latest but I dunno if that's indialtop. 2 has been pretty popular here - I'll spitshine your bewtz and stonewash your britches if that doesn't get some end of year love on the charts. |
