What I'm Digging These Days
Bottles. I dig/collect antique bottles. 1800's era soda bottles, beer
bottles, medicine bottles, etc. I am a member of the forum
"antique-bottles.net" as well. Here's a thread I made about a
recent dig. List is relevant songs.

Here's to hoping no random letter "r"s appear in the address. I've
seen these "r"s in other people's lists too. |
| 1 | Alice In Chains Down in a Hole
Since you are physically digging in a hole in the ground, this is every bottle
digger's anthem. |
| 2 | Meshuggah Beneath
Bottles are beneath the ground. |
| 3 | Judas Priest Breaking the Law
Well, technically the place I'm digging is private property... but the popo
ain't gonna get me! |
| 4 | The Chariot The Earth
I am digging into the earth. |
| 5 | Gojira In the Wilderness
I am out in a forest while digging. |
| 6 | Burst Nineteenhundred
I collect bottles from about 1900 and earlier. |
| 7 | Dream Theater The Root of All Evil
There's a giant root in the dump that's blocking the bottle layer. I'm
bringing a saw when I go to dig there tomorrow. |
| 8 | Gojira Toxic Garbage Island
There's this place in Brooklyn called Dead Horse Bay (such a Metal name).
It's the place where all of NYC dumped their trash starting in the early
1900's. Look the place up, the song "Toxic Garbage Island" sums it up
perfectly. It's cool, because even though the 40's-50's bottles I find are too
new to keep, there are (literally) millions of antique bottles there. |
| 9 | Avenged Sevenfold Trashed and Scattered
The bottles I am digging were once an 1800's family's trash. You know
what they say about one man's trash... |
| 10 | Devin Townsend Project Addicted!!
My brother thinks I'm addicted to antique bottles. I just consider myself
determined. |
