04.24.11 | Chopin is my favorite followed closely by Mozart and Tchaikovsky. I really enjoy listening to the piano, especially melancholic pieces, so Chopin and Beethoven are my favorites in that area. Mozart's piano is just off the charts in terms of talent and emotion so that's why I recommend him as well and Tchaikovsky will likely bring tears to your eyes. Carl Orff is really fun to listen to as well.
Oh and please, please do not leave out Henryk Mikolaj Gorecki, the finest contemporary composer in my opinion. If his symphony n. 3 doesn't bring tears to your eyes you just don't have a soul. | Bloodbirds
