IndolentIdealist 04.18.11	I do love Thirteenth Step and the Deftones. I actually haven't listened to much by NIN or Tool; I've only listened to The Downward Spiral. I'll definitely check out Tool and Cire. I think Tool's fanbase put me off of them for a long time.

IndolentIdealist 04.18.11	I already have all of the Glassjaw, brand New, and Oceansize albums, and honestly, I like every one of them. I haven't listened to much Karnivool at all.
BisayaBoi 04.18.11	Tool's AEnima is a fantastic mix of Alternative and Progressive. Cire's Adrenological is also another great mix of Alternative and Progressive. NIN is very good but is definitely a sound you have to get used to if you've never listened to anything like them before.

BisayaBoi, although I do enjoy Arcade Fire when I'm in the mood, I've never been much of an Indie fan. Scratch that, I do enjoy a lot of Indie. I just tend to be much more picky when it comes to that genre.

BisayaBoi 04.18.11	If you do like Cire's Adrenological I recommend Emptyself next which is the frontman of Cire's side project. Really good stuff though. Ah well Indie is a sub-genre of Alternative and back in the 80's-90's they used to mean the same thing. I thought I'd recommend some Indie because it's pretty similar to Alternative.
