I generally agree but I guess one big spot is things as mastering, EQ and stuff. Logically, because pop musicians or "successful musicians" (considering their finances) have bigger EQ available. BUT that does in case not indicate that a pop record/record by a successful band is either better produced or better structured. And there's a SHITLOAD of difference between a professional band and a pop musician. Short drastic example: SikTh and Rihanna. |
