10 Kick-ass Clean Vocalists
10Glenn Hughes

Ah, the renaissance man of rock. What can't he do?
9Ian Anderson

Jethro Tull's mastermind and flute virtuoso, IA has incredible range and color as a vocalist. His voice fits the music perfectly and has a completely unique character.
8John Sykes

Whitesnake, Blue Murder. John Sykes has a better voice than 99% of pure vocalists. And he's a guitar player. Time to take out the notebooks, kiddies.
7Demetrio Stratos

I'd be amazed if anyone knew who he was. Lead singer of easily the best Italian prog-rock band that ever existed, Area. Died tragically from a heart attack at 34. I still have never heard anyone do what he can do with a vocal box. Please take the time, it's worth it.
6Ronnie James Dio

No comment. RIP.
5Sammy Hagar

Better voice than Diamond Dave, hands down. Van Halen were always much better with Hagar. DLR was probably more charismatic but Hagar had the pipes.
4David Coverdale

Probably the most under-rated singer on this list. The power of his voice is unbelievable and anyone who thinks he is a Plant rip-off is an idiot. He sounds NOTHING like RP. His style is all his own.
3Robert Plant

2Ian Gillan

Probably the most versatile voice in the history of rock.
1Freddie Mercury

Probably the best voice in the history of rock.
