03.30.11 | haha @ stokes that happens a lot here but its just because most people dont like the hyperbolic praise albums like that get. people are okay with an album with a 4 rating or so but once albums have 4.2+ after having hundreds of votes thats pretty damn near impossible these days so unless they agree that the album is outstanding they're going to get a little upset that its getting so much praise. but make no mistake most people fucking loved that defeater album. hype trains get going pretty quick when good stuff gets released but then when people actually like it theres always people starting the anti-hype train up. |

BTW you should start with slow riot if youre looking to get into godspeed at all, the track moya off that is one of their most accessible (as is the EP as a whole). |
