My Favorite Albums Of All Time

These are my own personal favorite albums. i like dreamy and dark emotional music. so most people on sputnik wil probably disagree. but here it goes anyway.
10Interpol
Turn On The Bright Lights

really nice dark music. with some really standout tracks like Leif Erikson.
9My Bloody Valentine
Loveless

really nice soft songs. the only reason that this isn't higher is because i wasn't interested for that long.
8Manic Street Preachers
The Holy Bible

First time i heard this, i hated it. i tought it was to rock to be dark. but to dark to be rock. but after a lot of listens, i grown to love this album a heck of a lot.
7Smashing Pumpkins
Siamese Dream

I bought mellon collie first. and i liked it. there were some really good songs on there. but overall i felt that there wasn't enough to keep coming back to. it was a pretty shallow album. when i accidently listened to this one, i was blown away. every song is great. even if Melon collie was a 1 disc album, this still would have been better.
6Air
Moon Safari

Now this is one that most people might disagree with. but i like the fluffy songs on here. it is more fun then Loveless but chill enough to forget everything. i love this kind of albums, and this one is the best of it's kind.
5The Smiths
The Queen Is Dead

what can i say? The Smiths best album. not only a few great singles but every song here is good. with some great standouts.
4Mew
Frengers

This album surprised me quite a bit. it mixes rock with some shoegazing.
it's an album that i still often listen to. and that is very rare for me.
3Suede
Dog Man Star

this album is far overlooked.
the first time that i heard this album is one of my favorite memories ever.
i love how much emotion is in this thing. every song is great. it's not for everybody, but for a small amount of people, it is one of the greatest things ever.
2Radiohead
Ok Computer

I wont say to much about this album, because you already know everything that can be said about this album. i just love how different it is. all the weird sounds make it sound like it has just been made yesterday.
1The Cure
Disintegration

I love this album! it is just so full of emotion. and i love how every song flows goes together. getting darker with each track until disintegrating at the albums title track. then later looking back at the damage that is done.
