Escape The Fate

So yeah, when ETF came into Portland a few days back I got hooked rup by my bro Geoff at Truth Drums to come get in backstage (we rwent solely for Motionless In White) and see everything. Being a rdrummer and also getting to see Avenged Sevenfold backstage awhile rback too, I can say that Aren Illejay has got it made. Here's some rstories from the two nights:
1Escape The Fate
Escape The Fate

THEY HAVE 2 BUSSES. ONE IS SPECIFICALLY FOR PARTYING AND IN THEIR
OWN WORDS, GETTING "FUCKED UP." Not only was I insanely jealous that
these douche bags get to live the life they do (yes they were actually douche
bags), I was also insanely irritated at their general attitudes towards everyone.
They really are the pretentious assholes they look like. Not like I care, ETF
haven't even been remotely good since their EP, but still. The worst sorts of
people can have it made, while bands that honestly deserve it are left out to
dry. The drummer was so messed up on drugs, that when I would try to talk to
him, he would reply and mid-sentence, forget that I was talking to him, yell out
"WHAT THE FUCK MAN!!??!?!?!" and proceed to freak out while the trashy, fat
sluts danced on the party bus. So funny. Comparing them with the awesome
guys in MIW, there is no comparison.
2Avenged Sevenfold
Nightmare

Some of the coolest people I have ever met. Unlike ETF, their stage personas
and real personalities are night and day. To be honest, I was completely wrong
about my initial judgements about them. Most of them have wives and are
completely laid back. Arin (fill-in drummer) makes 10,000 a night, can literarily
get ANY drum endorsement he pleases, and just bought a house. Jealous, I'll
say it.
