Zion: Metal And Spring Fever

Zion 02.13.11	Probably could have added more examples, I got the idea while listening to Black Cascade and then as you can see just started scrolling through the A's in Songbird and got the next four. The skies are blue, the snow is melting, and I've been stuck inside for too long. Folk metal is usually pretty positive sounding but I think of that more as harvest season music (Korpiklaani and the like)

dreamobile 02.13.11	not sure about spring metal, though there's plenty of good metal for the other seasons. Isis - Wavering Radiant Nachtmystium - Assassins: Black Meddle Pt. 1 Les Discrets - Septembre Et Ses DerniÃ¨res PensÃ©es Boris/Michio Kurihara - Rainbow last one isn't metal, but I think it fits the mood of spring really well

Zion 02.13.11	Good call on Cold Body Radiation as well, "Emission" and "The Great White Emptiness" are exactly what I'm looking for today. The latter is quite possibly the most blissful thing I have ever heard. I'm not even joking. It makes me want to just go lay in a meadow staring at the sky until I die.
Wizard 02.13.11	Drudkh - Microcosmos, probably the last album you will be listening to for the next month, it's that good.
Zion 02.13.11	Hell yeah Wizard, I played Microcosmos like it was the only album in existence for a while. I'll have to listen to it again. It's Drudkh's best in my opinion. Have it rated 4.5.
dreamobile 02.13.11	So, not to spam your thread or anything but i just got The Bees Made Honey In The Lion's Skull by Earth. just as plodding and hypnotic as you'd expect, but there's a lot of colorful tones involved, especially with the keyboards. it's really good

Zion 02.13.11	Spam away dream, everyone's given great recs so far. I have heard both of the Earth albums mentioned, and yeah I'll be adding them to my rotation. I'm going to have to make a big list for all of these recs so I don't forget.
