Letlive - Fake History Ranked

Been listening to this almost every day for about a month now. It's not letting up.
11Letlive
Le Prologue

A solid intro, but it's an intro.
10Renegade '86

This song is sliightly annoying with its repetition but the chorus is stupidly catchy.
9Over Being Under

The chorus here really reminds me of Coheed. It's not as energetic as most of
the other songs but the rhythm section is tight as hell throughout.
8Enemigos/Enemies

A slightly more mid-tempo number with an interesting gang-vocal chant
midway through.
7The Sick, Sick 6.8 Billion

This was originally my least favorite but I've decided it's an excellent way to
"officially" begin the album after the intro. It wastes no time in grabbing the
listener with its razor-sharp verses and throws in one of the album's catchiest
choruses to boot.
6Homeless Jazz

One of the weirder songs on the album. Some really nice grooves going on.
5Casino Columbus

This is easily my most played song on the album and it was originally my
favorite. This was a good choice as the single with it's ridiculously catchy chorus.
Really gets the blood racing.
4H. Ledger

I'm a proud ass nigguh.
3We, The Pros of con

Starts out with Butler's meatiest roar on the album. Contains the most solid
mix of infectious melodies and harsh vocals. The whole dick thing at the end is a
bit strange but it doesn't last long luckily.
2Day 54

Originally Day 54 didn't stand out to me as much as the rest of the album. After
9 four-minute tracks bursting with energy (sans Muther) Day 54 is a bit of a
curveball with it's dark overtones. However, several listenns began to make it
stick out in a good way. The lyrics are well-written considering the general
inanity of the rest of the album and the outro is absolutely monolithic in
proportion.
1Muther

Muther is indisputably the pinnacle of Fake History. Place directly in the middle
of the album, it serves as the great divide between the more accessible first half
and the crazier second half. With it's saccharine chorus melody, it's surprisingly
emotive (and effective) female verse, and it's lonely anthem of a denouement,
Muther is a post-hardcore "ballad" of sorts for the ages.
