| Letlive - Fake History Ranked
Been listening to this almost every day for about a month now. It's not
letting up. | | 11 | Letlive Le Prologue
A solid intro, but it's an intro. | | 10 | Renegade '86
This song is sliightly annoying with its repetition but the chorus is stupidly catchy. | | 9 | Over Being Under
The chorus here really reminds me of Coheed. It's not as energetic as most of
the other songs but the rhythm section is tight as hell throughout. | | 8 | Enemigos/Enemies
A slightly more mid-tempo number with an interesting gang-vocal chant
midway through. | | 7 | The Sick, Sick 6.8 Billion
This was originally my least favorite but I've decided it's an excellent way to
"officially" begin the album after the intro. It wastes no time in grabbing the
listener with its razor-sharp verses and throws in one of the album's catchiest
choruses to boot. | | 6 | Homeless Jazz
One of the weirder songs on the album. Some really nice grooves going on. | | 5 | Casino Columbus
This is easily my most played song on the album and it was originally my
favorite. This was a good choice as the single with it's ridiculously catchy chorus.
Really gets the blood racing. | | 4 | H. Ledger
I'm a proud ass nigguh. | | 3 | We, The Pros of con
Starts out with Butler's meatiest roar on the album. Contains the most solid
mix of infectious melodies and harsh vocals. The whole dick thing at the end is a
bit strange but it doesn't last long luckily. | | 2 | Day 54
Originally Day 54 didn't stand out to me as much as the rest of the album. After
9 four-minute tracks bursting with energy (sans Muther) Day 54 is a bit of a
curveball with it's dark overtones. However, several listenns began to make it
stick out in a good way. The lyrics are well-written considering the general
inanity of the rest of the album and the outro is absolutely monolithic in
proportion. | | 1 | Muther
Muther is indisputably the pinnacle of Fake History. Place directly in the middle
of the album, it serves as the great divide between the more accessible first half
and the crazier second half. With it's saccharine chorus melody, it's surprisingly
emotive (and effective) female verse, and it's lonely anthem of a denouement,
Muther is a post-hardcore "ballad" of sorts for the ages. | |

02.01.11 | album is great. | WeepingBanana
02.01.11 | 2 should be 1
everything else should be 11 | TomArnoldsArmpit
02.01.11 | The track titles are all fucked up for me, so I don't know if I agree with this or not, except for (obviously) Muther being at 1. | tkxxx7
02.01.11 | 11 and 7 are one song in my book
move 3 to 6 (don't switch) and we're good | Yazz_Flute
02.01.11 | I posted the correct titles somewhere in the thread but I think I remember the mixed up ones, this is what they really are:
Casino Columbus: They have a video for this one, it's opening lyrics are screamed: "The opposition is now for sale..." and it;s chorus is "lock, stock, then you're ready to pay, but they aren't for sale so we'll rock the slots in an american way at casino columbus." You'll hear it. It's track 5.
We The Pros of Con - It's track 8, and it starts off with a low scream and meaty riff. At the end of the song is the whole "stars are for fags, so instead we'll use our great big dicks" part.
H. Ledger - It's track 9 and has the "I'm a proud ass nigguh" bridge. The chorus is "Let's just saaaaaay I never got an aaaaangeeeeel."
Over Being Under - Track 10. Should be easy to enough to identity, the chorus mentions being both over and under. | SpottedTrout
02.01.11 | I went about 4 months of heavy listening of this album before i realized my titles were fucked. :/ | TomArnoldsArmpit
02.01.11 | Mr. Flute, if what you say is true... then my track listing is more fucked than I thought. Are those straight from the cd booklet? | Josh D.
02.01.11 | 10 has a bad chorus, but the song is fun as fuck to play on drums. It should be higher.
And 7 being that low is a travesty.
I hate you. | Yazz_Flute
02.01.11 | Yup | Josh D.
02.01.11 | Fuck you, hope you die, RIP. | TomArnoldsArmpit
02.01.11 | You play drums Josh? Neat. | Josh D.
02.01.11 | No. | Crymsonblaze
02.01.11 | First five are spot on. Album rules. | Yazz_Flute
02.01.11 | Songs 3-8 on the list are all really close for me, sorry Josh.
I haven't drummed to any of these songs yet and I'm not really sure why. | TomArnoldsArmpit
02.01.11 | Oh, for a second there I thought you did something productive. | drasticaction74
02.01.11 | I'd rather just play drums to The Deadly Rhythm | crazyblinddude
02.01.11 | Good ranking man. Mine would be pretty similar. | Yazz_Flute
02.01.11 | Yes The Deadly Rhythm is fucking great on drums. | dylanthedesertpea
02.01.11 | i wish 11 and 7 were higher. i think they flow quite seamlessly into one another. makes for an intense start to a great album | Scoot
02.01.11 | band is awesome |
