My Top "mainstream" Bands

My favorite bands that are considered mainstream.
1Anberlin
Cities

Anberlin may not be considered mainstream by some, but I've heard a few of their songs on the radio and their fairly well known so I think it counts.
2Barenaked Ladies
Gordon

I've always really enjoyed listening to these guys. Pretty basic song structures and instrumentation, but they have plenty of funny and clever lyrics, and they're pretty top notch songwriters.
3Foo Fighters
In Your Honor

These guys have put out a lot of solid material.
4Counting Crows
August and Everything After

Actually one of my all time favorite bands. Thoughtful lyrics, expressive vocal performance, cool instrumentation.
5Third Eye Blind
Third Eye Blind

Really needs no explanation. All their albums are great and worth a listen.
6Lifehouse
No Name Face

Some pretty solid material, especially their early stuff. And nobody can deny that "Hanging By A Moment" is one of the best mainstream songs of our generation.
7Incubus
Morning View

Awesome band. Hoping for some new material at some point.
8 Nine Days
The Madding Crowd

A lot of you probably haven't heard of these guys. But I know you've heard "Story of a Girl". The rest of their material is actually quite good too.

Us and Them

Really sick of Second Chance thanks to the radio. But, pretty decent band.

A Beautiful Lie

I probably like these guys more than most people on this site. Pretty good band in my opinion.
