Quick Test: How Can You Tell If You're Full Of Shit?
1 Kanye West
Recovery
2 Kanye West
Recovery

With MJFox's scepter comes MJFox-like problems, all of which are artfully
and crudely put on display for us to dissect and care about even if we never
really cared about the cultural phenomenon of Eminem. The hype-
generating business has made Eminem so relevant that one has to wonder
if the infamous Encore and Relapse fiascos weren't really meltdowns but
genius career moves, a theory that doesn't seem so far-fetched when you
consider that everyone and their mother heard the records that emerged
from Em's self-destruction (it should be noted that more mothers heard
Recovery than Kanye West's also-excellent 2010 release!). More
importantly, everyone loved it because Recovery offers us the Eminem we've
always wanted: an Em who shows us that underneath all of the legendary
vulnerability and fucked up psychoses is a guy who's just as confident and
balanced as we had suspected. In the end, the only thing about Recovery
that matters is Eminem, and we have to thank him for it. - Adam
