Rush Song Of The Day

Today's Rush pick is off of their 1984 Grace Under Pressure album, Red Sector A.

Red Sector A

The song is meaningful. As you all know, Geddy Lee's parents were in the holocaust, and this song is about that exactly. The lyrics tell tales of hope, much like the whole album Grace Under Pressure.

This song uses synths to convey emotion. Unlike many other prog acts of the time, Rush used the synth tastefully and with style.
