Rabbit Rec's Part 1

So I am going to start making lists about nearly universally respected rartists who for whatever reason do not get enough attention on sputnik. rTom Waits is perhaps the most underrated artist on sputnik. He is on rpar with Cohen, Young, Smith and Dylan. One of the most creative/ rstrangest artists in modern music his sound has never become static. rHowever he is most recognized for his voice sounding...r"like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon, left hanging in the smokehouse rfor a few months, and then taken outside and run over with a car."rHere are his 5 most important and probably best albums
5Tom Waits
Closing Time

this is where you should start. Far less experimental than his later works and
almost as good. "I hope that I don't fall in love with you" is amazing
4Tom Waits
Swordfishtrombones

His strangest and my favourite. Not as consistent as Rain Dogs but "In the
Neighbourhood" is one of the best songs ever.
3Tom Waits
Rain Dogs
2Tom Waits
Bone Machine
1 Tom Waits
Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers & Bastards
