Burn Piano Island, Burn
Oh dear. I bought this album because every review of it said it was a great album, boy, that was a smart thing to do. I don't think i've ever heard such an over-indulgent, headache-inducing album, i like music like this, but it just gave me a huge headache efter listening to it. The lyrics, ugh, are the worst part, what were these guys thinking, 'lets write songs about black ice cube toast and filth roasts, but we'll make it seem more meaningful by tacking a story to it.' Frankly i couldn't give a sh*t about that bloody story, I couldn't see myself singing along to lyrics about vomiting skylines. To be honest i haven't really listened to this album all that much, and that might be where the problem lies, maybe it is an absolute genius album, but i really don't feel compelled to ever put it in my CD player ever again. | | 2 | | Band
