12.04.10 | I agree, exact same thing happened. One day I Groovesharked some stuff and didn't like it. Then a couple weeks ago, I decided to give Option Paralysis a run and voila. Not sure if I like Puciato's cleans, though. |
Inveigh
12.04.10 | Dillinger rules, but Miss Machine and Calculating Infinity are both better than Option Paralysis imo (it's still really good) |
KILL3
12.04.10 | ugh |
Athom
12.04.10 | Option Paralysis is a great starter album for them. I hope you enjoy the rest of it. I remember being really taken aback when I first heard them with Calculating Infinity but it became one of my favorite albums once I went into it with an open mind. |

12.04.10 | Dude, Puciato's cleans are awesome. Adds variety, obviously, but that whimpering he does is wicked. |

12.04.10 | I've only heard OP, and the main song that his cleans itch on is Gold Teeth On A Bum. I'm not sure what it is about them, tho |
Jonnyborg
12.04.10 | I like ire works best, personally. (brace for impact) |

12.04.10 | ^^It's all a matter of personal taste, dude. |

12.04.10 | You're not seriously asking me are you? Didn't you read the description? |
Puzzles
12.04.10 | Oh yeah dude, well eventually I think you'll try them again and something will just "click" and you'll finally "get" them. Same with bands like Radiohead and Faith No More, but these guys seem much more challenging in the beginning. You might just go to listen to a song of theirs, maybe by accident, and you'll hear a part of it and think "wow, this is actually pretty awesome", then your liking will escalate from there. |

12.04.10 | Yeah that's what happened with me too. Was listening to Pig Latin, Sunshine the Werewolf etc, when I was like 13 or something. Was like "yeah this is cool I guess but I can't enjoy it properly". Few years later I just said fuck it, and ordered Miss Machine + Calculating Infinity. Took me a month or something, and CI was my favorite album. |

12.04.10 | Once you get into Radiohead, you won't get out.
As for Dillinger, try that Farewell, Mona Lisa song, or Crystal... something. Those two helped me really get into DEP. |
Puzzles
12.05.10 | Gold Teeth On a Bum I think would be a good song to try, there's a fair bit to "latch onto" in that one. Btw, I just got Option Paralysis and I'm loving it so far. Also dude, you should get OK Computer and get into Radiohead through that one. It will gradually just start to make sense and you'll be loving it in no time. |
Puzzles
12.05.10 | If you don't like them now, like I said, one day you'll stumble onto them and it will just "click". However, I still don't get how you don't like that half-time sludge breakdown in Room Full of Eyes. Blows my mind every time. |
ShadowRemains
12.05.10 | GOOD FOR YOU I'M SO FUCKING PROUD!!!!!! |
wyankeif1337
12.05.10 | Puciato's cleans are one of the best parts of the album, bro. That bridge on Mona Lisa? Fucking haunting. |
GhostOvPerdition
12.14.10 | the exact same thing happened to me haha. Now when people rip on Dillinger in my presence i can't really be mad at them because they're saying things that I would have said a year ago. |
Puzzles
12.14.10 | Yeah, certainly, although I sometimes I forget what I used to think of them and in recently bringing them up to people I've found them to be repulsed by them, and I can't understand why. Then I remember... haha
On another note, Greg Puciato is a fucking amazing vocalist. His screams are much more attractive than your average hardcore vocalist. |
drasticaction74
02.12.11 | ugh i HATE puciato's vocals. I used to not mind him at all but he just annoys the shit out of me the more I listen. Calculating Infinity + Under The Running Board + Irony Is A Dead Scene = all you need |

02.12.11 | dammit drastic. |
