Serpento 02.13.07	Warning/Vhiessu were definitely not worse than Sonic Youth's Goo, Catch 22's Alone in a Crowd, or the Beastie Boys' Check Your Head. They followed some classics.

spoon_of_grimbo 02.13.07	by your reckoning on the vhiessu bit, you're saying bands shouldn't progress? that's fucking retarded. listen to paper tigers on artist in the ambulence, it pointed towards the vhiessu sound. yeah it takes some getting into, but its a great album! and as for finch? yeah i loved WIITB, but SHTS showed progression, variety, lyrical maturity, and despite what many people say, some brilliantly catchy parts, but in a different way to WIITB.

Electric City 02.17.07	The Thrice inclusion is garbage, but I'll give you Warning and Green, which are terrible. Where You Want To Be is just the preogression of TBS's annoyingly whiny sound. It's more listenable than TAYF, but still isn't very good.
