| To People Who Say Music These Days Suck
A list for people who are bent there is no decent music being put out by artists today. This list is to show that the best is being put out in these times. No particular order | 1 | Porcupine Tree Trains
Probably their most popular song but definitely the best to show that todays radios do not show the best music has to offer. An amazingly complex pop song with vocal harmonies and layering to die for. | 2 | Beck Sexx Laws
A fun upbeat song by one of todays best artists. He is diverse and fun while still being meaningful. I think this song shows his more upbeat side. Complete with banjo breakdown | 3 | Blackfield Lullaby
A side project of Porcupine Tree's frontman I think this will especially appeal to classic rock fans. This song is filled with empty meloncholy and is just a beautiful song. | 4 | Shpongle Divine Moments of Truth
An amazing psychadelic song. This song shows Shpongle at their finest and is their most popular song. It takes you on a trip. | 5 | Sigur Ros Glosoli
This song is by an Icelandic post rock band. Their dont say a word of English bt their music works very well for relaxing moods | 6 | Hallucinogen Solstice
Off one of my favorite albums of all time 'In Dub' This song is amazing psychadlia music. Complete with reggae rythm | 7 | John Mayer Bold As Love
I know this is a cover, but it showcases that even guitarists around today can cover Hendrix tastefully. This should put Mayer doubters quiet. | 8 | Mew Am I Wry? No
Pop rock done right. this song is so different from average pop rock but works. It's hard, fast and changes moods too many times to count but one of todays most talented bands | 9 | Muse Stockholm Syndrome
Loud, fast, chaotic, and filled with the feeling of desperation. | 10 | Oceansize Music For A Nurse
An otherwise medicore band this song is filled with beautiful layered guitars with the singers voice acting as an instrument other than singing. Perfect nighttime music. | 11 | Radiohead Let Down
Tom Yorkes best vocal performance this song is indeed catchy and meaningful. | 12 | Primus Kalamazoo
They have perfected the art of weird rock. This entire band is talented | 13 | Streetlight Manifesto The Saddest Song
Ska at its finest. This is one incredibly fast/fun song. | 14 | dredg Same 'Ol Road
dredg is one of todays most talented bands. This song showcases their best writing while being a part of a bigger whole, the concept of El Cielo. | 15 | Damien Rice Cannonball
Reminds me of a modern bob dylan in a way. It's good listening | |

02.11.07 | This is a freaking awesome list. | Sepstrup
02.11.07 | Poor choices by Muse and especially Radiohead. Let Down was such a let down (omg lolz) on OK Computer. Nah, in all seriousness it's a good song but one of the least good ones on the album.
Props for Sexx Laws. I've been digging that song as of late. | thunderzstruck
02.11.07 | thank you flawed perfection
