11.05.10 | I had a pretty shitty (3.1) GPA so SAT's saved my ass and got me into a decent school, along with some other factors... but I nailed the SAT's and it really helped... so much better to just do well on that than working hard on busywork for 4 years in H.S. if you ask me, if you can. |

11.05.10 | generic advice: feel free to make educated guesses, like if you have it narrowed down to 2... but also feel free to skip questions if you have no idea. if you have a problem with time usually on tests, make sure you manage your time well, but if not make sure you double-check your answers... especially on the reading section. sometimes going back and reading the sentences for grammar stuff like 15 min later makes a world of a difference. |

11.05.10 | Cheers dude. It's more the math part I'm worried about, I'm pretty awful at math but really good at problem solving type stuff. The only studying I've had time to do really is just brushing up on Trig. |

11.05.10 | The test itself isn't really that hard, it's pacing yourself. I suck at math, but after the first, i new the format well enough to pull out a 1350 w/o writing and a 2100 with writing.
Take it more than once, colleges look at only your highest with each section, works wonders. |

11.06.10 | Yeah I dodged the VCE (Victorian one). I've heard a lot of people saying it was ridiculously hard. School over here is sooooooo much easier than Australia. Loving it. |

11.06.10 | Yep, they're gertting worse and worse every year apparently, all over the country. The markers are insane and the exam writers are writing questions that either don't make sense or aren't physically possible (in the science/maths papers). |
