10.25.10 | surprisingly good. The switch from rapping to singing on wolf at the door is amazing.
4 is amazing, not enough people have heard that album.
1 is without a doubt the best moment in music
"Perfect closer for an album, even when Amnesiac its a mess on album-flow, unusual song for an unusual album"
Ok not to fanboyout but that is kinda the whole point of Amnesiac. Kid A is all about flow. It is gourgeous, no matter how devestatingly depressing. It has a very hollow sound as if you were the last man on earth standing in the ruins of civilization looking back at what happened. In Amnesiac you in that exact moment where everything is crubbling around you. It is terrifying and chaotic and lacks the beauty of Kid A. It is a very anarchistic album. It is dynamic always changing with no disearnable patterns...but that's the point. |

10.26.10 | I heard the live version of videotape first (the vid where Thom is playing it solo in the basement) and fell in love with that version (with the climax), so I can't help but be disappointed by the album version. Definitely needs Needs How To Disappear Completely. |
BigHans
10.26.10 | the best Radiohead moment by far is when the electric guitars kick in the final verse on Fake Plastic Trees. |

10.27.10 | i agree with you d4rock, all i need is brilliant. my fav radiohead moment though is probably the guitar after the chorus in subterranean homesick alien. or the opening to everything in its right place... or the guitar solo/breakdown in paranoid android... or... nvm, might as well make my own list lol |
Eclectic
10.27.10 | Yeah, I was going to join in on this, but then I realized that every Radiohead song, apart from one or two, has at least one moment that I'd classify as "favourites" and its just too hard to pick between them. |

reaganomics777
10.30.10 | I like how pretentious Thom Yorke is irl: "I think no artist can claim to have any access to the truth, or an authentic version of an event. But obviously they have slightly better means at their disposal because they have their art to energize whatever it is they're trying to write about. They have music. " Fuck I hate that guy. |
bab808
10.30.10 | reganomics777 putting a quote down like that does not prove a point. he's kind of right... |
reaganomics777
10.30.10 | Pretentiousness isn't inherently wrong bro. |
CelestialDust
10.30.10 | regardless of whether it's right or wrong, how is that quote pretentious? |
reaganomics777
10.30.10 | How about this quote: "I grew up under Thatcher. I grew up believing that I was fundamentally powerless. Then gradually over the years it occurred to me that this was actually a very convenient myth for the state."
He's a fucking pretentious wanker, plain and simple. |

11.01.10 | I may be alone in this, but Kid A is one of my favorite Radiohead songs/moments. Around 1:19 when the
beat goes away and that synth or whatever the hell it is just hits like a soft wave washing everything
away... yeah. |

11.02.10 | best Radiohead moments for me (some of which have already been mentioned here) are:
Motion Picture Soundtrack (first chorus into the second verse when the harps come in, utterly beautiful);
Videotape;
2+2=5 (when the distorted guitars kick in after "it is too late now");
How To Disappear Completely (when he's singing "strobe lights, and blown speakers" and the strings are swelling in the background);
Fake Plastic Trees;
Subterranean Homesick Alien;
The Tourist (chorus is phenomenal);
Lozenge Of Love;
Weird Fishes/Arpeggi (incredible live);
Like Spinning Plates.
They're in no particular order. Best gig I've ever been to was Radiohead at Glasgow Green, I'd have happily stood there n listened to them play every one of their songs |
Divine
11.14.11 | Top Radiohead Moment: When the whole band joins in near the end of "You And Whose Army?" |
