Nervocissitude

Got asked to do vocals for a 90's cover band in my area, and our first performance together is tomorrow night. They asked me to come up with the set-list, considering it's my first time ever doing lead vocals in anything. So this is what I chose, and I'd like to hear your feedback.
1The Toadies
Possum Kingdom

We felt with this we have a great opener, and the vocals aren't stretching me too much for my first time. It's a classic that I love(probably more than most), so I figured I'd feel most comfortable with this one.
2Live
Lakini's Juice

One of my favorite songs from the band, this stretches my vocal ability a bit more, considering I'll be trying to do my best Ed Kowalczyk impression while still trying to make it my own. It's also a bonus that I just bic'd my head bald 3 days ago.
3Better Than Ezra
Desperately Wanting

One of my favorite songs from the decade, I love the vocals on this track, so it's a must-do.
4Candlebox
You

This is probably my favorite track from the band, and it's something that's going to really push me a bit. Hopefully I succeed.
5Live
Lightning Crashes

This is a song from the only band that gets two spots on our set-list, and it's a more moody, somber song that gradually builds up in it's dramatics. Hopefully is a crowd-pleaser.
6The Offspring
Gone Away

Dexter has some serious pipes, so this is the track I'm most nervous about.
7Social Distortion
Ball And Chain

This was a personal choice of mine, and I got lucky that the rest of the band knows Social D as much as I do.
8Sponge
Plowed

The intro is so amazing that this was too hard to pass up. Plus, I get a chance to do my best Scott Weiland impression(just like Vinnie did in the Plowed video) and let my energy and adrenaline take over.
9Silverchair
Tomorrow

Ugh, as much as I hate this band, this song is so much fun to sing along with, so I had to go with it.
10The Butthole Surfers
Pepper

This is more of a song for us to just fuck around with. Such a weird, fun song that people seem to love(including myself), so this seemed like a good idea.
11Bush
Comedown

Another favorite of mine, it was either between this, Machine Head, Everything Zen, or Glycerine, and I felt Comedown was a perfect pre-closer song that would lead in pretty well.
12Everclear
Santa Monica

Great closer. It's an energy song that builds up from a subtle beginning, so we're hoping this gets all 12 of our fans going a little bit.
