But the two share an obvious connection because well, the Vikings formed Dublin, several key cities, intermarried, taught the irish to build ships and barter along with fighting each other to the death until the vikings expulsion at Clontarf. Like having Cuchulain the Irish mythological war hero siding with the Tuatha Dé Danann, Lugh the sun god, Morragan the goddesses of war and Balor the cyclop fighting off Oden, Thor, Fenris, The World Serpent and more ina fuckign epic tradeoff. Might just get a painting of that instead though. |
