| Gaslight Setlist
Saw Gaslight Anthem on Monday in Madison and it was fucking AWESOME. Missed the first act (Fake Problems) but I got to catch the last half of the Mezingers, which were pretty cool if not a little one dimensional. Gaslight hit the stage anc holy shit were they drunk. Alex didn't open his eyes for the first 4 songs, Adam almost fell off the stage a couple times, and Brian was talking absolute nonsense between songs. Only reason I think the drummer appeared sober was that he was sitting down and didn't have a microphone. Regardless, they played for almost 2 hours and kicked some serious ass. 09.21.10 | Bah, fucked up the list. Anyways, the first 4 songs are in order, after that I can't honestly remember the order. All I know for sure is that they closed their first set with We Did It When We Were Young. And their encore was I Coulda Been A Contender, Here's Looking At You Kid, A medley of oldies, American Girl by Tom Petty, and Drive. Last song, as per usual, was The Backseat.
Would've liked to have heard Orphans, Red at Night/Morning, and Meet Me By the River's Edge. But really, I can't complain too much. Pretty awesome set, and they sounded spectacular. Sorry about the extra 15 songs, my bad. | armfarm

09.22.10 | Meh, the Menzingers were cool but I had heard plenty of them by the end. Not enough tonal variance for me, but I guess I didn't know any of their stuff beforehand so that probably had something to do with it. | bungy
