I Really Need A Band.

The good thing about moving to a new town is the feeling of a fresh start, however it totally rrsucks because i don't have a band or know anybody who plays guitar or drums here. I really rrneed to find some people to jam with because i don't know how much longer i can take it. This ris ra list of bands/albums i would love to combine to make a sound for this "band".
1He Is Legend
Suck Out the Poison

Anyone who knows me knows that i love this album. It's their best, and has
this southern grit i can't get away from.
2The Fall of Troy
Manipulator

except for the sweet guitar fills, they would be bass fills. Same style lower
octave.
3The Black Keys
Thickfreakness

They have this grungybluesness i'm a sucker for too.
4Giraffes? Giraffes!
More Skin With Milk-Mouth

Not so much of the tapping, partly because i can't tap that well, rather for
their psychedelic, outside the box sound.
5Incubus
A Crow Left of the Murder...

see number 1, except for the southern grit part. It's just really really good.
6And So I Watch You From Afar
And So I Watch You From Afar

The only post-rock album i am in love with. I think it's their transitions i
want most from them. And their riffs.
7Killswitch Engage
The End of Heartache

Because they are one of those bands that will always be good to me, and
their riffs are crushing.
8Japandroids
Post-Nothing

A little too Indie for what i would want in a band, but i would love to do
what they do with only two people. There is just so much sound when they
play. Same goes for the black keys.
9Them Crooked Vultures
Them Crooked Vultures

I would love to have the riffyness and they tightness. No matter what they
do it sounds like second nature to them.
10 Tool
?nema

Reason 1) because it's fucking tool
Reason 2) because who wouldn't want a cult following of fans that would
love you no matter what you made. Tool could go in any direction and their
fans, even if they didn't like it, would at least respect them. Unless they
sold out lol
