Feature THIS!

Idk, couldnt think of a cool list title. List is awesome bands.
1Engraved

Formed in 1993 from the ashes of fellow Swedish death metal act Apathy, Engraved play a style a style of death metal that still features the aggression and stylings of the old-school but have upped the melody a good deal. More death metal that is melodic than melodic death metal, but it rules nonetheless.
2Pyogenesis

Formed in 1991 Pyogenesis was a death/doom metal band that flirted with gothic influences such as female vocals and operatic clean vocals amongst other things. Ignis Creatio is my favorite release from them as it seems to be their most cohesive combination of all these elements. Strangely enough, the band has gone on to perform in a pop-punk/alternative rock style that apparently is pretty decent, yet nothing I have a desire to check out.
3Eisenwinter

Eisenwinter is a Swiss NSBM band that formed in 1993. Although very melodic, the production is always raw as fuck, something I find to be an enjoyable combo. Their most recent album's have seen some criticisms for apparently mocking the NSBM scene as well as taking melodies of more mainstream oriented music and putting it into black metal riffs. Don't worry, they still rule though.
4Absurd Existence

A death/doom metal band from Germany. They only release one album and a full-length, but Angelwings (their LP) still remains to be one of the best doom albums I've ever heard. Atmospheric, multi-dimensional, yet still heavy as fuck, the band was far from a one trick pony.
5Spheruleus

Beautiful, beautiful ambient. Not really music to say, because musically it does not do much, but it still manages to create an amazing, relaxing atmosphere.
6A Wake A Week

Ambient with classical instrumentation. Sometimes it's can be soothing, sometimes it creates tension, but it's always ruling.
7Acherontas

First known as Worship, then Stutthof, Acherontas is one of the best black metal bands out of Greece. The band plays a super-raw form of black metal, backed by bombastic melodies, excellent keyboard interludes and overall great song-writing.
8Demented Ted

Awful name aside, Demented Ted was an amazing death metal band that only produced two demos and one full-length. Technical, fast and brutal, there really is not much to say besides the fact that they played death metal and did so very well.
9Hardware

Hardware was an experimental death metal band from Mexico. Quite often they would include some kind of industrial or even at times atmospheric elements into their music, something that definitely set them out from the death metal crowd of the time.
10Heinali and Matt Finney

A collaboration of spoken word artist Matt Finney and ambient composer Heinali, this has been an artist pairing that has created two of the very best albums of 2010 so far.
11White Wolves Kommando

Raw, dirty National Socialist black metal from Finland. So far they've only release four demos but each has not only been quality, but their most recent Our Empire of Shadows has seen them add just a tad bit more melody, a welcome inclusion if any.
12Sanctum

Angry, pissed off stenchcore (a more "metal" form of crust punk) these guys feature some awesome riffs, vocals and song-writing chops.
13Burning Priest

Raw, punky death metal. Not quite as technical as other bands yet still awesome just because you can tell these guys put a lot into their work.
14Exalted

Black metal from Chicago, these guys include a fair bit of crust punk in their sound but also demonstrate melodies from punk's catchier side as well.
15Eroded

Intense Japanese death metal. Only released a demo and a full-length, but offered up some great, grind influenced death metal.
