5 Favorite Sputnikers

My 5 favorite sputnikers. What about you guys? Each sputniker will be accompanied by a video from youtube, that somehow either relates to that sputniker, or sums up my feelings about them.

BigHans- Despite the incessant bickering between him and I, Hans knows the classics better than anybody on the site. While his constant (and totally fake) displays of manliness (sense the sarcasm) and attraction to girly hair metal (which he somehow thinks is manly) can get on my nerves, Hans is undoubtedly a fantastic writer with a great taste in music, even if it cliche. The vid is just so Hans.

Colors

Hollier- I have never found anybody with a more similar music taste to mine than that of Hollier's. Plus, he's actually one of the few remaining members on this site who will defend BTBAM til' death. We constantly discuss every aspect of music imaginable. The vid is the first section of "Colors" Live. Colors is an LP that changed the musical lives of both Hollier and I (even though since then he has gone to the dark side and has deemed this BTBAM's worst LP since their debut)

Maniac!- Because he's my fucking boyfriend. Nah. But seriously, Brandon is a young teen just like me who doesn't follow the crowd and listens to music that really appeals to him. Some say he's been an even bigger troll that me lately (go figure) but the Maniac is one of my favorite sputnikers despite that flaw. He's a guy who I definitely can relate too. Eric/Seanemone- Eric is simply the go-to guy for anything indie, folk, or alternative. He's a phenomenal writer, he's passionate about music, and despite being the hipster of all hipsters, he knows his shit and he knows it well. MichaelJordan (RIP)- He's the infamous and totally random nerd that wrote sputnik's most controversial and hypocritical review, his 'geometric' proof (even though the quality of music cannot be geometrically proven, as music is not a fucking shape) for Circle Takes the Square's "As The Roots Undo" . While obviously an amazing writer (albeit a wordy one), Jordan changed the face of sputnik in a bad way, with his constant bashing of almost every "Sputnik Band" and his ridiculously analytical tendencies that showed that being an intellectual genius doesn't mean you know shit about music. Though he may have left us now, MichaelJordan will go down in history as the smartest idiot that ever graced sputnikmusic.com. The vid is Jordan's oral review of "As the Roots Undo".
