The September Issue

These are the releases I'm intrigued by (some against my better judgment) in September.
1 Revis
Fire and Ice

WTFuck is up with this album? First it was coming out July, then August, and now it's dropped off the face of the planet. Stop teasing your six or seven fans, Revis!
2 Blue Sky Black Death
Third Party

These guys are always really solid.
3 Anberlin
Dark is the Way, Light is a Place

I like what I've heard. Hopefully brings a little more of the Cities sound back into things.
4 Neurosis
Live at Roadburn

It's Neurosis. Yup.
5 Puscifer
Sounds into Blood into Wine Soundtrack

Puscifer is one of those weird bands where I actually look forward to random remixes. A lot of times, the spaced-out, loopy versions outshine the originals. Also, Maynard's voice.
6Stone Sour
Audio Secrecy

Eh. Pretty average radio rock, but I'm a sucker for their sound.
7Linkin Park
A Thousand Suns

Minutes to Midnight was pretty lackluster. To put it nicely. I can't see this being a heckuvalot better, but my nostalgia won't let me abandon these guys completely.
8Serj Tankian
Imperfect Harmonies

Trying to consolidate all the embarrassing inclusions. I think Elect the Dead is better than it gets credit for. And definitely better than Scars on Broadway. Ugh. Anyways, I guess we'll see.
9Porcupine Tree
Recordings

Alright! Back in non-guilty pleasure territory. It's about time this was reissued. Hundreds of dollars on Amazon.com for a rarities collection is preposterous. Even if it is Porcupine Tree. (By the way, I don't want to say I'm personally responsible for this, BUT...http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=236581&listid=30787. Just throwing that out there. A-cough. A-cough.)
10 Opeth
Live at the Royal Albert Hall

I don't know about anyone else, but I think the cover art for this is hilarious.
11Brandon Flowers
Flamingo

Could be cool?
12The Drums
The Drums

Could be cool? (2)
13 Soundgarden
Telephantasm

Looks to be a pretty well-assembled compilation. Which is good, since I wore out my copies of Superunknown, Badmotorfinger, and A-Sides years ago.
14 Jimmy Eat World
Invented

Never got Chase This Light, but for some reason I'm pretty excited for this. Clarity-Bleed American-Futures is still an amazing trifecta of albums.
15 Ben Folds
Lonely Avenue

Ben Folds + Nick Hornby = YES!
16 It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Season 6

The perfect show for when I just want to kick back and drink my Wine in a Can.
