Deftones In Their Prime?

Now with their newest record, Diamond Eyes, out for which the band are now touring, it begs to be asked the question: when were the Deftones in their prime?

Was it the adrenaline-fuelled early days (pun intended)?

Perhaps it was during the touring days of 2000's White Pony, despite the fact that Chino had begun to gain weight and weaken his voice.

Diamond Eyes

Personally, I believe that they are in their prime NOW, Diamond Eyes era, circa 2010. Chino is singing and screaming as well as ever, they just released their best album, and although their bassist, Chi Cheng, is in a coma, they are at their touring peak, and have an arsenal of classic songs at their disposal.
