All I can suggest is to remove yourself from all things familiar, and throw yourself into something that requires all your attention and time

I definitely find it works as a release so much better than any other genre though. I honestly can't stand the people making facebook status and writing on his wall when, when he was alive they didn’t give a shit. I would never make a status about this, he‘s not going to read it. Slightlyepic made a great suggestion of listening to hardcore. Hardcore seems to always say exactly what I'm feeling, as it always relates to pain, anger, or just overcoming adversity. I'm sorry for your loss, and I hope what I said helps! :-)
